Features & Environments
The Sykes HS200 (S) is designed for a range of applications, typically giving a maximum head of 55 metres and a maximum flow of 190 litres per second, with the capability to pass a 95 millimetre solid.
The pumpset incorporates the Sykes ’’Univac’’ vacuum priming system, utilising a 60 cfm rotary vacuum pump which gives the ability for rapid automatic priming. However the pump has been designed to operate with the priming system shut off so that it can perform under flooded suction requirements.
The pump is driven by an industry standard diesel engine, meeting all relevant emission controls and selected to give maximum fuel efficiency - typically as low as 14 litres per hour - ensuring low running costs. The pump is supplied with a separate fuel tank giving the ability to offer longer running times between refuelling.
The pumpset comes on a skid mounted chassis as standard and a central lifting point for loading and unloading, which incorporates a noise attenuating canopy.
As standard the pump is fitted with a mechanical seal and Hi-Chrome wear adjusting liner.
These characteristics make the HS200 (S) a robust, highly versatile pump, with the ability to take on the most arduous and difficult pumping applications.
