These pumps are easy to maintain and have been designed to meet the challenging conditions of bentonite applications. Through the use of tried and tested components, coupled with the unique Sykes expertise and on-site service, we are able to ensure maximum reliability.
Manufactured in the UK, our bentonite pumps comply with the most stringent quality standards both British and European, and their robust construction ensures they are suitable for even the most arduous of applications.
Used wherever there is a need for positive self-priming pump, our bentonite range incorporates the unique Sykes vacuum system, enabling the pump to prime and re-prime fully automatically from dry, and operate with the suction intake intermittently exposed to atmosphere.
The 6” (150mm) units are available in two versions, the B150 diesel driven unit or the B150E electric motor version. Both versions have been designed for ease of on-site movement and cleaning with six flushing points as standard on the pump. The B150 has an integral fuel tank which allows up to 39 hours of pumping before refuelling meaning that there is minimal disruption to the job in hand and labour is not interrupted by the need to fuel the pumps on a regular basis.
Flow rates of up to 90 l/s are achieved and the maximum head is 38m, combined with the ability to handle solids up to 52mm these pumps really are versatile.
