Two out of two for Ingram as he seals Rally Islas Canarias win

Chris Ingramโ€™s dream start to the season continued on Spanish territory over the weekend after he cruised to victory at the Rally Islas Canarias.

The Andrews Heat for Hireย โ€“ backed driver led after the first day and sealed victory on Saturday with a 20.5 second gap over nearest rival and Opel team-mate Jari Huttunen.

Describing his achievements as โ€˜one of the most rewarding wins yetโ€™, Chris paid tribute to his team and now leads the European Rally Championship Junior standings by a staggering 37 points.

The result extends a remarkable run of podium finishes for the 22-year-old, who has enjoyed a great deal of success since joining forces with Andrews before last seasonโ€™s Circuit of Ireland.

Round 3 of the ERC Junior will not take place until August, when Chris and co-driver Elliott Edmondson will head to Poland for the Rajd Rzeszowski.

He will of course be in action between now and then, and there are already preliminary plans for our French and Belgian employees to attend the Kenotek Ypres Rally next month.

In the meantime, though, everyone at the company would like to congratulate Chris on another fantastic performance and weโ€™re already looking forward to the next time he gets behind the wheel!
