Process Heating On Demand

Monday, July 13th, 2009

After failure of the main steam system at a Pharmaceutical company Andrews Specialist Hire Division was contacted to design, install and supply a packaged boiler system to overcome the loss of production. Andrews supplied a LPHW (Low Pressure Hot Water) system to supply hot water at 95 Deg C by use of the twin heat exchanges within the temporary boiler (exclusive to Andrews Sykes). The system was designed so that localised hot water could be used whilst the main boiler plant was being repaired, this negated the requirement of large expensive temporary steam units.
