Every year in Catterick, North Yorkshire; Sykes Pumps are called in to prevent a disaster situation at a lake nearby. As the water levels rise, a local quarry is at risk of flooding. Sykes Pumps have expertise in averting disaster situations, and when necessary can rise to the challenge in an emergency.
Three Super Wispaset 150 Super Silenced Pumps discharge the excess water through an 18″ fixed manifold into a nearby stream preventing overflow into the quarry. These pumps are delivered with a 2800 litre fuel tank to ensure that the pumps can keep running for long periods of time, keeping control of the water levels.
Sykes Pumps are the UK’s leading pumping solutions company, and with genuine 24/7, 365 day service, they can respond to any water movement emergencies. For more information, please visit www.andrews-sykes.com/pumps

Sykes Pumps have great experience in helping energy providers to transport their offshore structures to their permanent locations once the build has been completed on-shore.
Recently 42 GP150 pump-sets were used to load out a 2100 ton substation platform from Hartlepool to it’s permanent site close to the Suffolk coastline, for a large gas and oil production company.
Having been providing pumping solutions for over 150 years, Sykes Pumps are perfectly positioned to assist with offshore load out projects. For more information please visit www.andrews-sykes.com/pumps

Andrews Air Conditioning were on hand this week to prevent a disaster for one of the UK’s leading animation companies. Our client called us when their current air conditioning solution failed whilst making of a new series of animated programmes for national television. The studio needs constant cooling during filming to combat the heat generated by the lighting and cameras. They needed a solution fast to prevent the hundreds of hours it takes to create every model for filming, melting away!
The equipment we provided is perfect for the job, within 4 hours we were able to deliver and expertly install the seven PAC 22 units into the studio facility. Andrews Air Conditioning saved the day, and managed to cool the new stars prior to their screen debut before disaster struck.
If you would like to know more about how Andrews Air Conditioning can help your company maintain a constant cool temperature in the most unique circumstances then call us NOW on 0800 211 611 or visit www.andrews-sykes.com
