The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and driven SHEQ Advisor to support and enhance Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards across multiple sites.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be instrumental in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operational teams, providing guidance, delivering SHEQ messages, and supporting best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continual improvement in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant SHEQ legislation and company policies
  • Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions
  • Deliver SHEQ briefings and promote safe working behaviours across multiple sites
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
  • Work collaboratively with teams to embed a positive safety culture

What We Are Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience

  • NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working across multi-site environments
  • Proven ability to deliver SHEQ messages and influence safety behaviours
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

  • Experience within a hire, engineering, or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with environmental and quality management systems
