What is the lowest fluid temperature your chillers capable of?

Some of our fluid chillers can go as low as -15⁰C – perfect for ice rinks and industrial cooling processes. Please speak to our specialist team for more information.

Are your fluid chiller hire units suitable for heating and cooling applications?

We have a range of fluid chillers that have heat pump options and can be used effectively for heating and cooling. These can be combined with a full range of air handlers and fan coil units for all your air conditioning requirements.

Are your chillers air cooled or water cooled?

All of our commercial chiller hire and industrial chiller hire units are air cooled but can be used for water cooled applications in the right circumstances. Please speak to your local specialist to discuss these options.

Are your fluid chillers energy efficient?

Yes, we have the very latest technology and are constantly investing in our chiller rental units to make sure we have the most modern and energy efficient equipment – guaranteeing the best possible energy performance for our customers.

Do your fluid chillers contain R22?

We have a modern fleet of chillers and as such, none of our chillers use R22. The refrigerant gases we normally use are R407C, R410A and R134A.

How easy is it to install your Fast Chill 90?

All of our Fast Chill units are pre-charged with antifreeze which makes them very quick and easy to install as there is no need to fill the system with glycol. Simply position the indoor and outdoor units, connect the linking hoses and connect the power supply and they will be ready to start providing cold air.

Is it possible to independently control your fan coil units?

All of our fan coil units have independent controllers to enable our customers to control their environment.

Are your air handlers suitable for indoor and outdoor applications?

We can provide both indoor and outdoor air handlers, whichever is the most suitable for the application. From event cooling to industrial cooling and ventilation, our specialist team ensure we use the right equipment for the application.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

Are your chillers reversible?

The majority of our rental chillers are reversible which means that they are able to work in heating mode, and thus economically provide large quantities of warm water or hot air through heat exchangers.

Which water temperatures are provided?

All our chillers are designed to provide water at typical tap water temperature of around 7⁰C according to testing conditions from Eurovent, but we also supply chillers which work at very low temperatures down to -15⁰C.

Which services are included in the chiller hire package?

At Andrews, our quotations include all services required as well as the chillers themselves including: all piping, electric cables, return transport costs, installation and set-up, maintenance throughout the hire period, damage waivers etc.

What is the minimum hire period?

Your chiller unit hire period can be anything from a day to several months/ years. The minimum billing period is one week and after that billing is set up on a day-by-day basis.
