Mechanical engineers at local council in Yorkshire need to replace all ageing and coal fired boilers in public buildings, while safeguarding hot water and heating. Ensuring these services are maintained while removing the source of heat can cause difficulties.
Andrews Boiler Hire was called in to provide a solution that could be used in this project, initially providing heat and hot water for a care home. A 100kW boiler supplied via a temporary bypass system allowed existing fixed boilers to be replaced without interfering with services within the building. Equipment was delivered and installed at times convenient, so as not to disturb patients and residents and to minimalise disruption.
Andrews demonstrated its efficiency in overcoming problems concisely while retaining essential provisions to a care home. The client was so impressed with the service we offered they called us to survey and quote a price for two further projects at primary schools. Subsequently, the two aforementioned assignments have been awarded to Andrews Sykes with work due to start imminently.
