We are delighted to announce that some significant improvements have been made to our Sedgefield depot, and as such, we are confident that our many clients in the North East will feel the benefits of an enhanced level of service going forward.
Like any successful organisation, we fully recognise the value of the people who work for us and ultimately help shape almost every aspect of our business.
A new depot manager is now in place to help coordinate daily operations and will be supported by a very capable and driven team of hire controllers, drivers and engineers.
In addition, we are very fortunate to have an established territory sales manager in place, whose strong technical knowledge has often been the decisive factor in us securing key pumping projects.
As ever, we continue to invest in our expansive hire fleet which includes a full range of diesel, hydraulic and electric driven general-purpose pumps, super silenced units and dozens of wastewater submersibles and drainers.
These are all stocked at our Sedgefield depot and readily available for immediate hire, along with hoses, accessories and our industry-leading environmental equipment.
We continue to work alongside customers from a cross-section of industries including construction, water & waste treatment, utilities and quarries, having recently undertaken a number of projects in these sectors.
Supported by considerable capital expenditure, our strategy is very much centred around being proactive and responding to regional customers with the efficiency that is synonymous with our brand.
Our new-look Sedgefield depot is fully equipped to serve clients across the North East, including Northumberland, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Sunderland, Darlington, Hartlepool and neighbouring areas.
Chris Graham, sales director at Sykes Pumps, said: “By expanding our team and optimising our resources in the manner that we have, I am convinced that this will have a positive knock-on effect in terms of service delivery.
“We are in an excellent position to accommodate an upward shift in enquiries and I believe that the structural developments we have made as a business will only strengthen our reputation in this part of the country.”
