Looking for pumps that comply with European Stage V emission standards? We’ve got plenty!

At Sykes Pumps, we proactively take steps to improve the sustainability of our business and ensure that our environmental impact is noticeably minimised with each passing year. This action takes many forms – from becoming less dependent on natural resources to guaranteeing our products exceed the requirements of latest industry regulations – and this will be the basis for our future success.

As part of this commitment, we have assembled an expansive pump hire fleet comprising units that conform to Stage V emission standards for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) with spark/compression ignition engines. Full compliance comes with a range of obligations including reduced production of ultra-fine, sub-micron soot generated during combustion processes.

We are delighted to be able to offer customers a wide choice of pumps that run on engines with a significantly lower output of nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide and other pollutants.

Last year, we launched another two pumps – the Super Wispaset 150 Tier V and the Super Wispaset 150 eco – as part of a concerted effort to broaden our clean air strategy and give our clients an even wider selection of environmentally friendly pumps to choose from.

These units joined esteemed company, with our other Stage V-compliant pumps including: the Minivac Eco, the GP80 Eco, the Super Wispaset 80 Eco, the Super Wispaset 100, the HP100 Super Silenced and the HP150 Super Silenced.

Chris Graham, sales director at Sykes Pumps, said: “Being in a position to offer our customers pumps that tick so many boxes from an environmental perspective is not something that can happen overnight, or by accident.

“For many years, we have been consciously developing our equipment ahead of projected changes in operational legislation which has allowed us to stay ahead of the curve.

“Although we’re very proud to stock a vast number of Stage V pumps across the country, we continue to pursue further technological advancements so that customers can benefit from even cleaner and greener solutions in the months and years ahead.”
