With construction sites now open again after the Christmas break, we’ve noticed an immediate increase in demand for high capacity heating solutions.

That’s where our practical and robust ID65 unit comes in. It has a nominal heating duty of 65kW, making it the ideal solution for industrial surroundings and applications of up to 1,625m³ in size.

NHS’ new cancer centres require urgent source of heating

Falling winter temperatures are normally the catalyst for the healthcare sector turning to us for their temporary heating requirements – and this year has been no different.

Last week, we were contacted by a client in southwest England who is building a new cancer centre on behalf of the NHS.

To ensure the project could be completed on time, it was imperative that a solution was found to combat the cold weather affecting wet trade drying times.

Within hours of receiving the inquiry, our local expert conducted a site survey. This process allowed us to ascertain that temperatures on the building site would need to be kept above 18 degrees.

Andrews Heat for Hire provides heating solution for leading construction company

Andrews Heat for Hire was recently contacted by a leading construction company in search of an effective heating solution  that would help dry the floors and walls of a newly-built West Sussex college during the latter stages of the project.

A local expert visited the site to conduct a free site survey before proposing a tailor made drying solution, consisting of an Aurora FH111 oil heater and all required lengths of ducting. It was felt this particular unit was most suitable given the dimensions of the application, and guaranteed the customer a reliable heating supply once installed.

Andrews provide short-term heater hire for local school

A national construction company recently contacted Andrews Heat for Hire in search of a heater hire package that would raise temperatures inside a newly-built gym.

The customer in question was in the finishing stages of a school sports hall construction project and required temporary heating to help speed up the drying of paint. The unit we provided would then remain on site to maintain temperatures inside so that the school’s opening sporting event could proceed as planned.

It was originally expected that the school’s own heating system would be commissioned but this could not be connected in time.

Andrews provide temporary heating to accelerate floor drying process

When the world’s largest genetic modification company was in the process of building a new office block, Andrews Heat for Hire was drafted in to provide equipment which could quickly raise the temperature on site.

The contractor in charge of the project required a short-term heating solution to assist with laying floors which they were struggling to do due to low ambient temperatures.

An Andrews heating specialist conducted a survey of the area within hours of initial contact and subsequently proposed an appropriate heater hire package consisting of three high capacity FH4000 oil heaters. Each unit was accompanied by a 3000-litre fuel tank to facilitate continuous operation during a critical stage of the project.

Andrews Heat for Hire was recently drafted in to provide temporary heating for a big brand storage company, after temperatures in their warehouse dropped below 8°C in the winter months. This created an uncomfortable working environment for employees and so something needed to be done immediately.

The client in question was looking to heat a two-storey warehouse which was used to store high-quality big-name products prior to their distribution.  An Andrews technician visited site and was able to propose a suitable solution based on the application’s unique specifications.

As a company, we pride ourselves on having the ability to accommodate the demands of our customers – no matter what they might be. So, when a well-known production company required temporary heating at short notice, our experts were drafted in to provide a suitable heater hire solution.

Our customer needed to heat a large warehouse – previously an old bottling plant – which they had been using as a film set for a new movie. As a result, the client required short-term heating to maintain a desirable temperate on set.

Andrews provide heating hire solution for one of the UK’s best-known bakers

Andrews Heat for Hire recently responded to an emergency call from one of the UK’s best-known bakers. The company sought to raise temperatures inside a temporary warehouse to assist with the storage of bread, cakes and muffins, and needed a short-term heater hire to enable this.

As a result of a huge expansion project, the client began building a new distribution centre in to better accommodate their flour products. However, while the new facility was being built they were required to lease a temporary warehouse in Worthing.
