Temporary heating keeps Dorset leisure centre open

Like most public and private facilities, leisure centres are reliant on the presence of effective climate control all year round. A failure to maintain this basic yet often overlooked amenity can lead to them being closed until a replacement is installed, and when this situation arises, Andrews Heat for Hire respond quicker than anyone.

One of our clients – a nationwide HVAC company – contacted us in desperate need of a temporary heating system. They were responsible for maintaining the boiler of a leisure centre in Dorset, and when this failed unexpectedly an alternative was urgently required.

Repairs were expected to take a few weeks, which meant the resource would have to close until further notice unless another heating supply could be sourced. Following a scrupulous site survey, one of our technicians suggested deploying an FH2000 oil-fired unit outside the building and ducting warm air inside.

This was subsequently delivered on the same day of enquiry and was fully operational shortly after. Our solution meant the gym and swimming pool remained open to members throughout the changeover, which was the primary objective of the assignment.
