Over the last few decades, we as a company have become accustomed to seeing our logo appear in various sporting contexts – from football shirts to rally car chassis. This coverage has typically been generated via sponsorship deals and commercial packages, but a Sykes Pumps employee has come up with a different way to increase our brand exposure!

Portsmouth-based Steve Henty, who works in Pump Hire and Sales, has been a keen stock rod driver for more than twenty-five years. Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing most prominently found in Canada and the United States, usually taking place on an oval-style track.

Portsmouth depot undergoes £100,000 overhaul

As an organisation committed to making improvements across all factions of our service, Andrews Sykes are equally steadfast in our approach to modernising company premises and vehicles.

This pledge has led us to invest substantial sums of money in company property nationwide – with the most recent example being our Portsmouth depot. Over £100,000 has recently been spent on refurbishing the exterior and interior of the building.

The offices have new furniture, IT and are now fully air conditioned. Fresh signage and extensive repainting have also helped boost the building’s appearance from an aesthetical standpoint, along with a newly-fitted roof.
