The production company responsible for the programme, watched live by millions, sought an immediate cooling solution to assist them with reducing temperatures in their production room.

The production room – a converted and temporary facility with no permanent air conditioning – contained a large quantity of sensitive electronic hardware, monitors and cameras that were in serious danger of overheating just hours before broadcasting was due to commence.

When a major property maintenance company had been contracted to provide cooling for a plant room in London, Andrews Air Conditioning Hire were required to ensure an immediate solution was provided.

The plant room in question was experiencing high temperatures of 37°C during the summer months, meaning urgent action was necessary. In order to protect equipment, the client required an effective cooling solution to reduce temperatures to a maximum of 25°C.

Following an extensive site survey, three PAC 22 air conditioners were delivered and installed on site and placed in the plant room, providing cool air to the critically hot areas and dramatically reducing temperatures.

Our client experienced an air conditioning failure in their main auditorium, leaving them without an effective cooling solution a few hours before a sold-out show. Andrews Air Conditioning Hire were recently contacted to provide a temporary cooling solution for a very high profile meeting between some of the country’s leading political figures.

Our client was hosting the Prime Minister for an urgent meeting set to take place the following day.

An Andrews technician was sent to site to conduct a survey – this assessment prompted our regional expert to recommend the deployment of eight Polar Wind portable air conditioners.

Pet retailers across the country are obligated to ensure all animals are kept safe and healthy, so when a garden centre in Nottingham encountered difficulties keeping their rabbits and guinea pigs cool, they contacted Andrews Air Conditioning Hire in search of an effective cooling solution.

As an existing client, they knew Andrews would be able to offer same-day, out of hours delivery which was extremely important given how quickly high temperatures can affect small animals.

Our specialists recommended the deployment of an ET21 air conditioner after calculating that approximately 6kW of cooling would be sufficient in guaranteeing the continued wellbeing of the animals. Cold air was then driven into the wood cladding building via lengths of ducting we provided – directly spot cooling the display cabinets which housed the rabbits and guinea pigs.
