Andrews Sykes sponsors the Aaron Lewis Foundation Rugby Tournament (ALF 10s)

As a company, we have a responsibility to give back to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Andrews Sykes is proud to sponsor the annual Aaron Foundation Rugby tournament, known as ALF 10s, which is the flagship fundraising event of the Aaron Lewis Foundation. Taking place at Westcliff Rugby Club on July 8, 2023, the tournament holds a special place in the hearts of both the local south-east Essex community and the wider rugby-playing public.

The Aaron Lewis Foundation is an all-volunteer charity committed to transforming the lives of service and ex-service personnel through the medium of sport and community action. We are continuing our relationship with Aaron Lewis Foundation by donating the sum of £3,000.

Ebbsfleet United and Sykes Pumps to continue commercial partnership

Sykes Pumps are extremely pleased to be extending our long-term association with Ebbsfleet United following an extremely successful year for both parties.

The Fleet enjoyed competing at the summit of the National League South and eventually secured promotion while Sykes Pumps recently announced a record-breaking capital investment following an extremely profitable 2016.

Sykes celebrate 160-year milestone

Andrews Sykes Group report successful financial year

We are extremely pleased to reveal our financial results for 2016 which underline another extremely prosperous year for the company.

Figures show that total revenue was £65.4 million – an increase of £5.3 million – equating to 8.9% growth when compared with the previous twelve-month period.

The increase had a more than proportionate impact on operating profit which increased by £2.6 million (19.7%) to £15.8 million in the year under review. This follows a 15.8% increase on the results posted in 2014.

Andrews Heat for Hire agree sponsorship deal with European champion Chris Ingram

After last year’s fantastic reintroduction to Motorsport – culminating in Andrews-backed driver Chris Ingram being crowned the first British European Rally Champion in 49 years by winning the ERC3 title – it is with great excitement that we announce an extension of our partnership for the 2017 season.

Our original association with Chris began last March, following a chance encounter with Rally legend and former Andrews Sykes backed driver Russell Brookes, who wisely predicted on the day that Chris would become European Champion! Russell and Andrews Heat for Hire were once coupled by one of the sport’s longest ever sponsorships between 1974 and 1991 – before the company’s links with motor racing ended.

Andrews Sykes sign two-year extension with Charlton Athletic Community Trust

Having enjoyed an extremely successful four years working alongside the Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Andrews Sykes are delighted to confirm the continuation of our sponsorship until 2018.

The deal will see our company branding appear on the back of all clothing and kit worn by the Trust’s staff, including t-shirts, polos and sports jumpers.

Andrews Sykes are extremely proud to extend our association with CACT, which has now been operating for almost 25 years. During that time they have won countless awards recognising the fantastic work done in our local community and beyond, with approximately 10,000 people per week now benefitting from the services offered.

Andrews Sykes complete move to new headquarters

After more than five decades of our head office being sited in Wolverhampton, the company is delighted to have moved into state-of-the-art premises in St. David’s Court. The relocation allows us to retain our deeply ingrained links with the city centre while benefitting from some of the most sought-after offices available in the area.

We now have more than 8,000 square feet of open plan work space designed to our exact requirements, with the final touches added just days before our arrival. The move underlines our unwavering desire to improve all factions of the business, including the facilities in which our staff are based.

Following on from our announcement that Andrews Sykes were once again reaccredited with our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, we are delighted to announce that we have been successful in achieving another two highly coveted industry standards.

With organisations in our field facing increasing scrutiny from all quarters about the environmental impact of our trade, we are proud to have shown an unwavering dedication to capping energy consumption and harmful emissions. This commitment has subsequently been ratified by an external auditor who confirmed our compliance with CEMARS – the Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme.

Andrews Sykes pleased to welcome new Chief Financial Officer

The company is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer who will take responsibility for all financial affairs after an 8-10 week induction period.

Andrew Phillips has joined with immediate effect and will oversee all financial operations both in the UK and abroad. Andy is expected to take up office at some point in May.

He spent the first eleven years of his career training and working for a Birmingham-based Chartered Accountancy, gaining experience across a wide range of industry sectors. Upon leaving that position, Andy took up a Head of Finance role for the UK Operations of an international business headquartered in Germany. Shortly after, he was made Finance Director of the same company.

Andrews Sykes are delighted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Andrews brand, following five decades of successful enterprise in the UK and abroad. Originally established as Andrews Industrial Equipment in 1964, the company has since branched out into all factions of climate control before merging with Sykes Pumps in 1989 – becoming what is now known today as Andrews Sykes.

From our humble beginnings in Wolverhampton, we have progressed into a multi-national organisation by providing complex hire solutions to clients all over the globe. This landmark in our history has allowed us to take stock of our rapid growth but also lay the foundations for advanced plans in both the near and distant future.
