Nestled in ancient woodland in Bedfordshire, the village will be 25% more efficient than any other. To achieve this, the company needed to ensure that the heating system was highly efficient with a reduced carbon footprint. An energy centre was designed by the company’s specialist design consultant who requested the help and advice of Andrews Sykes for the testing of the two megawatt boiler system. To do this, Andrews Sykes would simulate the heat load the boiler would be put under when the site was fully operational.
