We are pleased to announce a significant investment in a new fleet of large goods vehicles – each with a capacity of up to 18 tons. These new additions to our fleet will ensure delivery times are cut further and that the transportation of heavy duty units can be completed in accordance with stringent safety guidelines.

Ebbsfleet United and Sykes Pumps to continue commercial partnership

Andrews Sykes open new Bologna depot to strengthen our presence in Italy

Andrews Sykes are pleased to announce the opening of a new depot in Bologna, Italy. This new location has been especially chosen by our subsidiary Nolo Climat to support future growth plans throughout Italy. Bologna is located in close proximity to important cities in Emilia Romagna, such as Modena, Ferrara, Ravenna, but will also to facilitate the connection with Florence, Venice, Rome and the South of Italy.

Strategically located near major road junctions and Bologna Airport G. Marconi, this new depot will provide a full range of services including the hire of air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, heaters and ventilation fans.

Andrews Dehumidification donate equipment angling charity

Andrews have a track record of assisting countless good causes in recent years, recently we were extremely keen to provide the Fishability UK charity with some drying equipment after learning of their requirement.

The organisation was set up to support former servicemen and provide them with an outlet for indulging in mainstream activities. As a result, a number of fishing trips have been coordinated across the UK and even further afield in France – with a four-man team heading overseas in August for a week-long fish on French waters.

Andrews Sykes Group report successful financial year

We are extremely pleased to reveal our financial results for 2016 which underline another extremely prosperous year for the company.

Figures show that total revenue was £65.4 million – an increase of £5.3 million – equating to 8.9% growth when compared with the previous twelve-month period.

The increase had a more than proportionate impact on operating profit which increased by £2.6 million (19.7%) to £15.8 million in the year under review. This follows a 15.8% increase on the results posted in 2014.

We are delighted to announce the opening of a new depot in the Doncaster area as the company look to increase our service capability throughout Yorkshire and beyond. This is a sign of our continued development as a business and presents us with a fantastic opportunity to capitalise further on the success we have enjoyed in recent years.

Strategically located near major motorway links, this purpose-built facility comprises of a 16,500 square feet workshop based on a 1.5-acre site. It will provide us with significant yard and storage space for increased fleet holding, in addition to a paint shop area, full testing capability, air conditioned offices, training room and modern welfare facilities for our staff.

Ebbsfleet United edge out Chelmsford City to seal promotion

After suffering play-off heartache at the end of last season, Ebbsfleet United came back even stronger this year to earn promotion in dramatic fashion.

It proved to be third time lucky for Fleet fans, who had seen their side suffer defeat in each of the previous two finals at Stonebridge Road.

With an hour gone, however, the dream looked beyond Daryl McMahon’s men as they trailed 1-0 and had a player sent off.

But two quick-fire goals in the last quarter of the match gave Ebbsfleet something to hold on to, defending desperately for eighteen painstaking minutes before the referee eventually blew the final whistle.

Andrews Sykes relocate to larger Bovey Tracey depot following sustained regional progress

As a company with a constant eye on developing every aspect of our operations, it is with great delight that we announce the opening of a new depot in Bovey Tracey.

The move has been deemed essential in order to further streamline our service, following an extremely successful period of business in the South West.

A substantially larger 7,000 square feet workshop and storage facility sits on a half-acre site, providing more storage and yard space to accommodate a growing product intake.

As well as additional room for an expanding fleet holding, we have also been able to fit enhanced testing facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure various aspects of our day-to-day service can be improved.

Andrews Sykes sign two-year extension with Charlton Athletic Community Trust

Having enjoyed an extremely successful four years working alongside the Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Andrews Sykes are delighted to confirm the continuation of our sponsorship until 2018.

The deal will see our company branding appear on the back of all clothing and kit worn by the Trust’s staff, including t-shirts, polos and sports jumpers.

Andrews Sykes make donation to Care after Combat

Andrews Sykes are proud to support worthy causes and local initiatives – whether these are employment schemes, charity events or even sporting activities. So when the opportunity arose to help Care after Combat create their first veteran accommodation centre, we were delighted to get involved.

In March 2015, Simon Weston House opened to homeless ex-servicemen who have struggled to reintegrate into society following their time in the British Armed Forces. The Care after Combat team then help residents source permanent living quarters, while also providing vocational training and employment openings.
