We are of course referring to our new submersible pumps, and it is with great delight that we announce that some of these are now out on hire! Quite fittingly, a sporting association needed to move water from one pond to another, prompting an enquiry and our first official pump order.

Italy

Our Italian branch, Nolo Climat, has been showing its passion for fashion by maintaining momentum from their work at the Milan fashion week in September. Our specialists in Italy proposed a heating solution for an exclusive footwear brand’s showroom, in one of the most exclusive locations in Milan. After a thorough inspection of the building, our FH185 DV models were identified as the optimal heating solution for the showroom and surrounding spaces. Four heaters will remain on site until December, along with diesel tanks that are equipped with a remote level management system that allows fuel levels to be viewed through a mobile app.

In a lot of cases, simply delivering and installing temporary hire equipment will sufficiently address whatever problem our customer has encountered. However, more complicated issues require a greater degree of intuition – and that’s where our highly proficient engineers come in.

Earlier this week, we received a query from a well-known food retailer after their heating system stopped functioning. Our client was looking to restore warm temperatures inside their store, but was reluctant to deploy electric heaters on the shop floor due concerns over them being potential tripping hazards.

Andrews Heat for Hire keeps shoppers warm at new retail store

A popular international retail chain opened another of its stores in Bristol last week, amidst much anticipation from those living nearby. Local news outlets reported that crowds of eager shoppers had assembled ahead of the grand opening – and we played our part in ensuring that all went according to plan!

The premises in question had previously been occupied by a well-known electronic hardware company and was thus significantly larger than most of our customer’s other stores in Bristol. Because of this, their internal HVAC system needed to be more powerful than those typically found in smaller outlets.

High capacity heating arrangement aids hotel building fit-out

With a new hotel in Croydon said to be just a few months away from opening, the construction company responsible for the project turned to us for a temporary heating solution. Their requirement stemmed from the need to complete the interior fit-out as quickly as possible, which was being made more difficult by the unfavourably cold conditions.

Our client had arranged for various sub-contractors to visit the location and undertake timber works, joinery, plastering and floor laying, so it was critical that the temperature and humidity levels of the building were conducive to these tasks.
