Sykes Pumps Save the Day!

A tourist attraction in the North East of England called upon Sykes Pumps for their help when their beach located pump that provides fresh seawater to the attraction’s aquarium failed.  Without this pump the well-being of the species in their care were put at risk, meaning many of the animals needed to be transported to other similar facilities around the country –  a fatal option for some of the residents.  An evacuation procedure such as this would not only be costly to arrange and execute, but would also loose hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost revenue at the height of the summer season.

The Sykes Pumps team were able to offer an emergency response within 4 hours of the initial call to not only provide the facility with a temporary pump to keep the attraction open, but also managed to source the parts and provide an experienced engineer to repair the original pump in record time; meaning the facility could remain open and the precious animals could remain in their acclimatised habitat without disturbance.

This is a perfect example of how Sykes Pumps strive to provide the highest levels of customer service in an efficient and professional manner.  If you would like to find out more information on the equipment and services that Sykes Pumps provide, please visit www.andrews-sykes.com
