Sykes Pumps launch revolutionary Super Wispaset 200 Ecotec unit

Sykes Pumps are pleased to announce another new investment in our environmentally compliant pump range, as we introduce our Super Wispaset 200 Ecotec super silenced model. This market leading innovation has been designed with the latest emission standards in mind and exceeds the criteria set out in all European regulations.

Quiet in operation, the Sykes Super Wispaset 200 Ecotec is perfect for all noise-sensitive applications including residential areas. Its impressive performance capabilities offer heads of 43 metres and a maximum flow rate of 161 litres per second, coupled with a number of groundbreaking high-tech features.

A British-manufactured JCB Ecomax engine ensures the pump maintains optimum performance without causing any disturbance to anyone working or living nearby. The pump also features the most advanced telemetry system ever seen in a product of this kind, delivering performance monitoring statistics, tracking details and even oil pressures to the user. You can even start/stop remotely, enabling an immediate and safe shutdown in emergency situations.

Despite the Super Wispaset 200 Ecotec’s impressive pumping capacities, it uses approximately 10% less fuel on average than comparable pumps available elsewhere the market.

Other features and benefits include:

–          JCB Ecomax engine – British built engine with optimum performance

–          Telemetry – External performance monitoring and location tracking

–          Remote start/stop – full control on or off site

–          Fuel efficiency – consumes around 10% less fuel than comparable models

–          Low fuel emissions – follows latest European legislation

–          65dBA at 7 metres – low noise pollution for built-up areas

–          Central lifting eye – safe and easy manoeuvrability with crane

–          Fork pockets – ease of use for safe loading, offloading and deployment

–          Sykes auto self-priming – fast, automatic priming for dry for ease of use

–          24-hour internal fuel tank – optional separate larger fuel tank available

Chris Graham, Sales Director at Sykes Pumps, said: “This new 8” pump features the latest technology and is Tier 4 compliant in relation to engine emissions. An innovative control panel includes a forward-thinking telemetry system and an auto stop/start with floats, while a high-quality canopy substantially reduces noise output when the pump is in operation.

The pump is designed to deliver class leading head and flow performance whilst being highly efficient, to reduce running costs.”
