Sykes Pumps adds four new models to expansive electric submersible wastewater range

As the industry’s leading pump hire provider, we are constantly investing in our product fleet to ensure we stay ahead of market trends and can continue to provide our customers with the best solutions available.

We are therefore delighted to introduce four new submersible wastewater pumps that enhance our range for specific duties and applications to satisfy customer demand.

Ranging from 2kW to 22kW in terms of power and performance output, these latest units named the NX3085 SH, NS3102 SH, NX3153 SH and NX3171 SH respectively, deliver highly efficient wastewater pumping.

The pumps have impressive performance capabilities at higher heads and pressures, making them ideal for a wide range of applications.

Each component has been manufactured with sustained efficiency in mind and incorporates modern technologies to keep operational costs low.

The majority of solids entering the pump will pass between dedicated impeller vanes, but any object caught on the leading edge of the vane will be diverted along the backswept shape towards the inlet’s perimeter.

As with all submersible pumps in the Sykes range, these units are compatible with guide rail systems of any dimensions – guaranteeing suitability to all submerged applications.

Other features and benefits include:

  • Flexible and modular design requiring minimal service and maintenance
  • Robust and reliable ensuring suitability to challenging environments
  • Efficient operation allowing significant energy savings for the end user
  • Motor protection reducing the risk of damage and breakdowns
  • Non-clog performance for long-term projects
  • Mechanical self-cleaning design permitting high sludge concentration
  • Compact pumps intended for use in small spaces
  • Excellent portability for quick installation

Chris Graham, sales director at Sykes Pumps, explains: “These recent inclusions to our pump hire fleet all feature innovative configurations, rendering them ideal for most market sectors.

“Their unique hydraulic design provides incredible flexibility and allows us to tailor installations to meet the unique requirements of our customers.”
