Sykes modernises hire fleet with two submersible drainers

We are pleased to introduce two new class-leading submersible drainer pumps as part of a continual investment in our expansive hire fleet. By routinely assessing the requirements of customers, we are able to constantly upgrade our range to include technologically advanced innovations that ensure we accommodate market trends and offer the latest products available on the market.

This commitment sees the addition of our P2002N and P3002N models, which have been specifically manufactured for demanding water transportation jobs. These robust pumps are constructed from hard-wearing materials to maximise reliability and durability, while retaining excellent portability.

Typically intended for deployment within construction sites, industrial facilities, utilities, quarries and mines, these highly dependable pumps provide clients with a compact solution for any project requiring the transfer of nuisance water. Both versions can also handle small solids and particles without the risk of blocking.

Our latest innovations feature modern motors providing enhanced levels of efficiency to combine economical functionality with low maintenance needs. Both units can be up and running within seconds of reaching site due to their simple plug-and-play installation, requiring only a 415V 3-phase from a local power supply or a generator.

Other features and benefits:

  • Highly reliable and suitable for long-term use
  • Easily portable for simple deployment
  • Plug-and-play installation for instant set-up
  • Heavy-duty construction suited to arduous environments
  • Stainless steel components for abrasive resistance
  • Dirty water and solids handling capability to 15mm
  • Compatible with Sykes control panels for automatic stop/start
  • Slim design permits access to small spaces

Each model is fitted with 20 metres of individually screened cable, providing users with additional protection and specific safety compliance where needed.

Both pumps can be used in conjunction with our range of market-leading control panels, enabling automatic start/stop and maintaining safety standards during periods of unattended operation.
