Stonehenge Gets Air Conditioned

When Andrews Air Conditioning Services first received the request to install air conditioning at Stonehenge, some eyebrows were raised! Why would anyone want to air condition a neolithic monument?

Thankfully the actual requirement turned out to be in the control room, to provide cooling for the ticketing and CCTV equipment.

In keeping with the requirements of English Heritage, who manage the Stonehenge site, a highly energy efficient wall-mounted air conditioning system was designed, offering the highest A/A Energy Rating.

Commenting on the project, Sam Law, Business Development Manager for Andrews Air Conditioning Services said, ”The client required the installation to be completed outside of normal working hours to avoid disruption to this very busy visitor attraction, and we are proud to have been selected to work on such a prestigious site.”
