Playing our part in helping the hospitality industry bounce back

We have already received a high number of urgent air conditioning enquiries from customers in the hospitality sector, and temperatures are yet to exceed the early 20s so far this summer! Only last week, we agreed separate 100-unit orders with two of the UK’s largest hotel chains – and the early signs are that there might be more to come.

In both cases alluded to above, our clients’ chillers had failed unexpectedly and left guestrooms and other areas completely exposed to warm seasonal conditions.

It appears that breakdowns are occurring more commonly across the board, as lower staffing levels and a general reduction in demand for hotel stays during the pandemic have both contributed to preventative chiller maintenance dropping down the list of priorities.

But with the industry enjoying a state of revival and scorching temperatures expected to soon be upon us, estates teams and facilities managers are desperately addressing emergency climate control requirements that warrant immediate responses. And that’s where we come in!

For many years, Andrews Air Conditioning has devised temporary solutions for individual proprietors and household names alike – from small B&Bs to large hotels with several hundred rooms – and we’ve always had the capability to do so.

While some hire companies might struggle to accommodate requests on the upper end of the scale, we confidently vow to always have sufficient stock even if temperatures rise beyond the 30⁰C mark!
