Our brand new Swiss depot is ready for winter

July 2013 marked the opening of a new Andrews Sykes depot in Switzerland, operating under the brand name Climat Location, the new depot is located in Pampigny, a small town near Morges, set between Geneva and Lausanne in the heart of French-speaking Switzerland, also known as Romande.

The depot has been gaining momentum since July and now stocks all of our winter hire products including; boilers, electric heaters, oil heaters and dehumidifiers.

During November we hired out many dehumidifiers and in December during the first cold spell, Climat Location has already helped many customers to continue with their construction and building projects despite the cold weather conditions often experienced in Switzerland.

 

The depot is continuing to grow and receives more and more requests and calls from all types of industries, particularly within construction, where heaters and dehumidifiers are needed on sites to meet strict working deadlines. Heaters are also often needed in offices to ensure that staff are kept comfortable and are working in suitable conditions. Our services have been used on a range of applications from events to concerts, conferences and even galleries who have benefited from our dehumidification services.

Other key people based within this depot are:

– Bakir, works on our hire desk and is the main point of contact for the business. He also assists with project management.

– Ricardo, is our specialist engineer who ensures that our equipment is delivered and installed successfully.

Our fantastic new depot is housed in a brand new building and already has a wide range of products available for hire, with further expansion is planned for later in the year.
