Worldwide locations Sykes Pumps has appointed Adrian Blake as Business Development Manager for our Submersible pump hire business. Adrian brings over 30 years of experience with submersible pumps to this role having previously worked with a submersible pump product manufacturer. Adrian started in the industry as an apprentice gaining experience in the pump repair shop and undertaking pump servicing and installations on site. Within the industry, he has undertaken roles in contract and Project Management, being responsible for a number of multi-million pound, multi-disciplined projects before moving to the Service business where his career continued to progress to become General Manager of the Service Department.
Adrian has said of his time here so far “Everybody I’ve met is really supportive and has a genuine interest in driving the Submersible business forward. The knowledge base and fleet is very good and we have a strong offer in this market. The targeted growth is ambitious but with the standard of people Sykes employ, backed with the commitment of senior management I’m confident we will achieve our goals”.
