New Look and ‘Operator Friendly’ Vehicles Join Andrews Sykes Fleet

Andrews Sykes, renowned for 24/7, 365, 360 degree  Climate Control Hire and air conditioning installation service and repair, invests heavily in maintaining an extensive vehicle fleet operating out of its nationwide (and international) depot network; Andrews UK deploys a total of 246 vehicles, supplemented in peak times such as the recent heatwave, by rental partners

Ensuring this fleet operates at peak performance is a huge task. As Richard Galvin, Operations Support Director says ‘Our focus is not only on ensuring our equipment is in excellent condition – our clients rely on us to help keep their business running, but also on making certain that at any time we have vehicles and drivers available and ready to go at a moment’s notice’. That’s why we regularly replace and refresh the fleet – around 15 vehicles are replaced every quarter, which requires careful planning and resource management

The fleet ranges from modest ‘combo’ vans used for service and support by our field engineers, through to 26T Lorry units capable of moving our larger units such as the new HPAC90 High Performance Air Conditioner and the more substantial enclosed Super Silenced Wispaset 300 Pump units

We’re refreshing the look of our vehicles as they are replaced, incorporating more prominent information to help clients contact us and generally keeping the fleet smart – we take pride in our performance and appearance.
