Our electric heaters have been flying off the shelves in France this winter but, sometimes, you just need something slightly bigger!
Earlier in March, our colleagues at Andrews Climat Location were approached by one of the country’s largest civil engineering and construction companies – Eiffage – seeking a solution on behalf of their client.
The end user was a multinational technology organisation with a very prominent presence in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Because of their rapid growth in recent years, the tech manufacturer was in the process of extending their site – and this is where the heating requirement came from.
As part of the latter stages of what was a significant construction project, our customer was looking for some temporary heating to make internal conditions more conducive to tiling, floor laying and painting.
These processes were undertaken 24 hours a day, so a reliable and high capacity source of heat was needed.
The scale of the building can easily be imagined considering seven of our FH4000 units were used on this development, and our French engineering, operations and logistics teams worked in unison to ensure the client received exactly what was needed.
You can see the equipment on its way to site, with the picturesque Chartreuse Mountains in the background, and we’re delighted to say they were very gladly received by our contact.
This hire is indicative of the success Andrews Climat Location have enjoyed this winter, and they now realign their focus to the spring season which is anticipated will lead to more dehumidification, ventilation and air conditioning enquiries.
Let’s go, team!
