Worldwide locations Asbestos was extensively used as a building material in the UK from the 1950s through to the mid 1980s. It was used for a variety of purposes and was ideal for fireproofing and insulation. When these fibres are inhaled they can cause serious health issues.
A Building service company contacted Andrews Boiler Hire due to an urgent request of a trailer mounted boiler, needed to replace at a Country House in Dundee. The existing boiler house had traces of asbestos therefore it was decomissioned and unable to enter. Andrews Boiler Hire recomended a 250 kW boiler unit as it only required a single phase supply. The 250kW site container Boiler, provides a fast and effective solution to a wide range of applications requiring heat and hot water. We surveyed the site for a suitable location, due to the narrow lane, space was limited therefore a near HIAB craned vehicle was required to deliver the boiler unit and the temporary fuel tank.
