A famous cricket ground in Nottinghamshire needed a rapid and effective climate control solution to quickly convert an indoor practice area into a functional and comfortable presentation space. Here’s how the Andrews Sykes team made it happen.  

What Challenges Did We Face?  

The main challenge was the tight timeline. It was crucial that the area was repurposed quickly and efficiently, and the air conditioning system needed to be installed without interfering with other critical areas of the club.

Due to the sheer scale of the project and the busy schedule surrounding the matches, time was of the essence.  

How Did We Solve the Problem?  

First, our local sales engineer conducted a prompt survey of the site.

The results, combined with the engineer’s familiarity with the site, led to the recommendation of four PAC22 Split Air Conditioning units, each with Heat Exchange Units. 

Two units were placed in the private parking area and two were placed near the restaurant load-in area to avoid any interference to the ground’s operations.  

The installation was completed on the day before the first match, with everything in place just before midday.
