Worldwide locations As a company known for our commitment to helping young people in various forms, Andrews Sykes have cultivated a reputation for supporting initiatives, employing apprentices and working with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. For the last four years, we have also sponsored The Addicks’ official football strips but our involvement with sports clubs extends far beyond the professional circuit.
Since 2012, the company has sponsored the playing strip of Ashford United Youth U16s – a local amateur side affiliated with Ashford United Men’s who compete in the Southern Counties League East. The U16s won promotion to their age group’s top league in Kent and have gradually developed into a formidable team under the stewardship of their current manager.
He said: “Andrews Sykes came on board four years ago and have provided full kit every year since. This has been a major burden removed and something the squad have hugely benefited from by essentially having the cost of their football subsidised. We are obviously grateful to have the backing a large organisation which has given us a head start over other teams in the division.”
They currently sit in mid-table and appear to have quickly acclimatised to the new standard of football, with home fixtures now played at the Homelands Stadium on Sunday mornings. We would like to wish Lee and the players the very best of luck going forward and hope they cement a spot in the upper echelons of the league table as we approach the season’s midpoint.
