Andrews Sykes is proud to sponsor the annual Aaron Foundation Rugby tournament, known as ALF 10s, which is the flagship fundraising event of the Aaron Lewis Foundation. Taking place at Westcliff Rugby Club on July 8, 2023, the tournament holds a special place in the hearts of both the local south-east Essex community and the wider rugby-playing public.
The Aaron Lewis Foundation is an all-volunteer charity committed to transforming the lives of service and ex-service personnel through the medium of sport and community action. We are continuing our relationship with Aaron Lewis Foundation by donating the sum of £3,000.
Initially formed by a group of Aaron’s close friends, the tournament has grown significantly since its inception in 2009. From its humble beginnings with just four teams, it now attracts 16 teams and is expected to draw over 2,000 attendees, cementing its position as a key event on the Essex rugby circuit. Not only will attendees enjoy rugby but also the live bands, BBQ, bar, and inflatables for children will be a part of the event.
At Andrews Sykes, we are truly honoured to support such an incredible cause and be an integral part of the occasion. We recognise the importance of bringing people together, showcasing the power of sportsmanship, and raising vital funds for local charities such as the Aaron Lewis Foundation.
