Andrews Sykes represented in Paris “Bike and Run” race

The first ever “Bike and Run” event took place in Paris recently, with the event attracting entrants from all over Europe. With members of Andrews Sykes staff based in both the French capital and Lille opting to take part, some friendly rivalry between colleagues was precipitated!

Participants competed in pairs; one person cycled while the other ran alongside the bike. Rules stipulated that those involved could interchange as frequently as deemed necessary but that they could be no longer than 3 metres away from each other.

Contestants navigated their way through Paris, commencing at Avenue New York before passing Pont d’Iena and eventually, the Eiffel Tower.

The company’s best-performing duo was Olivier Mercier and Quentin Cuvellier, who completed the 18km course in 1 hour and 13 minutes. This time featured in the top 200 overall and ensured that bragging rights were theirs back at the depot the following day!
