Andrews Sykes ramps up investment in Scottish operations

Following a growing demand for our services across North Scotland and the Highlands, we are delighted to commit to a significant financial investment to further enhance our operations throughout the territory.

In recent years, Andrews Sykes has worked closely with companies immersed in Aberdeen’s major industries – oil, offshore and construction – and this has prompted us to take steps to ensure we can not only accommodate this surge in requirements but also cut response times for our existing customers.

As part of our pledge to strengthen our capability in the area, we have expanded our workforce to include a new territory sales manager, sales agents and admin staff.

In addition to taking on more members of staff, we have also spent a substantial sum of money on both our HVAC and pump hire range and on modernising our fleet of vehicles and depot support.

This large capital outlay reflects our desire to further develop business relationships in both Aberdeen and Inverness, whilst reinforcing our position as Scotland’s largest specialist hire company.

By employing more people, broadening our fleet of equipment and upgrading our delivery vehicles, we feel we’re now even better prepared to react to emergencies irrespective of the location in which they occur.

Murray Stewart, Divisional Director for Scotland, said: “Investing in both our Aberdeen and Inverness depots will stand us in good stead and help us deliver an even better level of service than our customers have come to expect from us.

“By making these improvements, we’ve ensured we are well-equipped to reach clients across the North of Scotland via our regional depot network and our commitment to having engineers on standby 24 hours a day.

“We pride ourselves on offering the best in class – whether that be our people, our products or our depots – with these three variables combining to ensure that the level of service we provide to customers is unparalleled.”

“If you’ve got an out-of-hours boiler breakdown that needs to be addressed immediately or an urgent over-pumping job that has surfaced out of nowhere, you can rely on us to propose a solution and be on your site installing it within four hours of contact.”
