Andrews Sykes – New shirt sponsorship deal with Charlton Athletic Football Club
Paul Wood, Managing Director of Andrews Sykes is delighted to announce “We have committed to being shirt sponsors to Charlton Athletic Football Club for the forthcoming season, 2013/2014. We anticipate and hope the year will be an even better experience than this fantastic season has been for us and the club.”
Steve Reeve, Sales and Marketing Director added “In what are challenging times for any company, making this kind of commitment must be only for sound business reasons, and after reflecting carefully on a very successful year, we can state with confidence this has seen a very positive initiative for our business and one we see as having achieved a great return on a not insignificant investment. As a result, the decision to be shirt sponsors for the new season is very much in line with our plans for the next phase of our development”
Like Charlton, competition last year was fierce for us, and our ‘Team’ of staff, leadership and supply partners worked exceptionally hard to keep us at the top of our game. Sharing that journey with CAFC has been an invaluable part of our strategy.
Core to our partnership have been our shared values and active community participation. Andrews Sykes is a traditional and straightforward company with a strong legacy, something we know is important to Charlton who are committed to achieving commercial success, which will sustain the club, without compromising their reputation as a family oriented organisation. Our long standing presence in, and commitment to, South East London and Charlton especially, where we have our largest operational hub and from which most of our local branch employees come, means we are integral to the local community as is Charlton Athletic. Indeed many of our staff are supporters or have other associations with the club.
Paul Wood continued “We intend to make full use of the superb resources at The Valley and to continue to be active in our support for the club and fully engaged with all CAFC events, both relating to football and the increasingly important other commercial activities that are now an essential aspect for clubs like Charlton”
The Addicks had a great season ‘on the road’ last year; we’d like to think like them, we travel well and our support for our clients throughout the country is just as important as our local participation. Home and Away, we look forward to a great year ahead
