Andrews Sykes confirm sponsorship of Tall Ships Regatta

In just under three weeks’ time, the Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival will commence, with five days of exciting activities taking place between the 5^th and 9^th of September. The event will feature the arrival of up to fifty striking tall ships competing in a regatta which initially begins in Falmouth, Cornwall.

As well as the race’s conclusion along the River Thames, the annual festival’s entertainment also extends to theatrical performances, dancing, live music and other amusements. This year’s competition is expected to be the biggest for over 25 years and widely attended by both tourists and residents.

Andrews Sykes is therefore delighted to announce that the company will sponsor two sailors participating in the event – particularly as our London depot is just a few hundred yards from the finishing line! Although we have outlets nationwide, our commitment to getting involved in local projects has always been prevalent so we are pleased that this can continue.
