Andrews Heat for Hire extend sponsorship with rally driver Chris Ingram

Following a successful one-off sponsorship of rally driver Chris Ingram during the Circuit of Ireland in April, Andrews Heat for Hire are delighted to extend our partnership with the 22-year-old until the end of the season.

Chris is currently Britain’s leading driver and Junior competitor at the highly-publicised European Rally Championships, which is broadcast on Eurosport to an audience well in excess of 300 million people.

2016 marks the Manchester-based sportsman’s first as an Opel rally driver, but this hasn’t stopped him from taking an incredible 11-point lead after a string for fine performances in the Azores, Belgium and Estonia.

Our sponsorship deal will see Andrews Heat for Hire branding emblazoned on the front of Chris’ Adam R2 car – a name which, even now, is synonymously linked with motor racing following the exploits of Russell Brookes during a seventeen year association.

On August 18th, Chris will take part in his maiden foreign World Championship Rally start – at the Rallye Deuschland in Trier, Germany. Over 200,000 spectators are expected to descend upon the track’s outskirts across the four days, with the event also set to be heavily covered by both BT Sport and Channel 4.

Speaking after signing the agreement with us, Chris said: “It has been a privilege to fly the flag for Andrews so far this season, and their past success with the UK rally driving legend Russell Brookes has most definitely spurred me on to achieve six podiums from six starts.

“I would like to thank everyone at Andrews for their support and would not be in the position of representing the UK in the European Championship without our partnership.”

We look forward to monitoring Chris’ progress in his upcoming rallies and wish him all the best for the remainder of the campaign – starting with this week’s trip to Germany!
