Worldwide locations One of the UK’s largest property services companies contacted Andrews Boilers in regards to hiring a boiler for a leisure centre in Devon. A temporary boiler was required to maintain the water temperature in the swimming pool as well as provide the heating and hot water supply during a planned maintenance programme. An Andrews Sykes dedicated boiler specialist proposed the use of a 500kW packaged boiler powered by the existing natural gas supply. The 500kW temporary boiler comes complete with heating and domestic hot water heat exchangers and was perfectly suited for this application. The boiler was installed and running within 2 hours of delivery so that minimal disruption was caused to the pool opening times for the public.
The unit was delivered to the car park adjacent to the leisure centre whereupon a crane provided by the building services company moved it into the desired position, the installation went smoothly and in perfect timing for the pool to open the following day. The client was very pleased that their opening hours were not disrupted and that the whole service was carried out by Andrews Boilers trained and experienced engineers at a very competitive price.
