Andrews and Charlton Athletic Community Trust – A New Year of Partnership

Andrews Air Conditioning has committed their support to the Trust for the second year running, remaining as its Official Kit Sponsor, in what continues to be a developing partnership.

Andrews Air Conditioning, part of the Andrews Sykes Group, recently confirmed their status as Charlton Athletic FC’s Official Shirt Sponsor to make it two years in succession and followed this by committing to the Trust as well.

The Sponsor’s logo will continue to be noticeably displayed on all kit, including sweatshirts, polo shirts, t-shirts and wet tops, and will be worn by the Trust’s full time and part time staff . Andrews Air Conditioning will also remain displayed on the Trust’s website, in the Trust’s match day programme page, in all Trust marketing publications and in the Trust’s monthly newsletter.

Over the past year, Andrews staff have been actively finding out the extent of the Trust’s work in the community and have been impressed with what they have seen.

Paul Wood, Managing Director of the Andrews Sykes Group, said, ‘We are delighted to be supporting the excellent work undertaken by the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. This is our second year with the Trust; last year, the 20th anniversary of the Trust’s formation, proved a great success and we learnt a lot about how we can make a contribution to the work they do, not just financially but also in our active involvement.

Our close and long standing association with Charlton, South East London, and beyond into Kent, mirrors the reach of the Trust and it is a very good fit for that part of our business – especially as many of our workforce come from that area. The Trust represents exceptional commitment by those involved – and the hard work, integrity and enthusiasm shown by all involved in the Trust are values we embrace.

The decision to be a significant contributor to help in the work the Trust carries out was a considered one, and one we concluded made good sense. We intend to be active in our support throughout the new year of our deal with the Trust and we shall very much enjoy our engagement with those involved.”

Trust CEO Jason Morgan added, “We are delighted to have agreed terms with Andrews Sykes and will look to continue developing what is already a strong and positive partnership. To have a local business support our work and want to find out more about the work we do, is extremely encouraging and we look forward to working with Andrews for the foreseeable future.”
