Worldwide locations With temperatures across the capital exceeding 25°C in recent days, we at Andrews Air Conditioning took the opportunity to hand out paper fans to tourists and commuters during a period of particularly intense heat.
By using Charing Cross railway station in central London as a focal point, staff were able to target large volumes of footfall and provide light cooling relief to those who wanted it.
In fact, the demand for our fans was so high that we ended up giving away a whole vanload in just one morning – equating to 6,500 fans in total! The response to our presence was extremely well-received, with people turning to social network sites to express thanks via messages and pictures.
