Ingram heads to the Azores for season’s opener

The 2017 European Rally Championship begins this week, with Chris Ingram ready to compete in the Rallye Azores alongside Opel codriver Elliott Edmondson.

And the 22-year-old Mancunian will be looking to build on his impressive record on the Portuguese island which comprises of a victory and two second place finishes in three appearance on the Junior circuit.

An untimely puncture at the corresponding event last year added 40 seconds to Chris’ eventual finishing time, dropping him from first to second position after stage 8.

The 3” Hydraset 80 joins our pump hire fleet with immediate effect and gives clients another bespoke pumping solution for deep suction lifts.

Comprising of a power pack, pump end and a set of hydraulic hoses, the Hydraset 80 has been designed for deployment in a multitude of surroundings including construction, marine, quarrying, wastewater and any other remote location where electricity is unavailable.

An industry leading house-building and construction group in Birmingham were experiencing difficulties in drying concrete works, as well as controlling humidity for specialist acoustic joinery which was being fitted in a newly built auditorium.

Our specialist team were drafted in to conduct a thorough site survey. A tailored solution was recommended which included a single KT2000 desiccant dehumidifier rental package suitable for building sites. The unit was located outside the target application, recirculating the air within the auditorium by utilising over 70 metres of ducting and an FV300 fan.

Andrews Sykes relocate to larger Bovey Tracey depot following sustained regional progress

As a company with a constant eye on developing every aspect of our operations, it is with great delight that we announce the opening of a new depot in Bovey Tracey.

The move has been deemed essential in order to further streamline our service, following an extremely successful period of business in the South West.

A substantially larger 7,000 square feet workshop and storage facility sits on a half-acre site, providing more storage and yard space to accommodate a growing product intake.

As well as additional room for an expanding fleet holding, we have also been able to fit enhanced testing facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure various aspects of our day-to-day service can be improved.

Production company seek emergency heating solution

When the TV sets for one of Britain’s most famous TV dramas encountered heating issues, Andrews were drafted in to provide a heater hire solution for their film studio.

After receiving various weather related complaints from staff following filming of the last series, Mammoth Screen production required temporary heating to be distributed throughout the set during filming times.

Our experts surveyed the project, proposing a heater hire package for the TV programme that would fulfil the needs of our major client. Several FH 2000 indirect fired oil heaters were recommended, due to their ability to deliver high volumes of warm air as well as their affordable running cost.

Supermarket kept open by Andrews Heat for Hire

When one of the biggest supermarkets in Britain was left without heating following an air management system upgrade, the HVAC contractor responsible for the building contacted Andrews Heat for Hire to source some emergency temporary heating.

Our specialists were on hand to visit the store within two hours of contact being made. The solution of our local specialist was to propose the deployment of an Aurora FH 4000 indirect fired oil heater, which is capable of delivering large volumes of warm air throughout a shopping environment.
