Energy Saving Low Cost Process Cooling

During the recent cold spell, Andrews Chiller Hire supplied 10 x 150kW Air Handling Units to a processing plant. The existing Dry Air Coolers had failed and production had to be stopped. The customer originally specified Fluid Chiller Units, but after a site survey by a Andrews Sykes Specialist engineer, the recommendation to use Air Handlers was agreed due to the low ambient temperatures. The units supplied considerably reduced running costs and met budget expectations. Andrews Chiller Hire team were on site within 4 Hours of the initial call and the processing plant was operational within 8 hours utilising the temporary Air Handlers. Andrews Ventilation London Boat show

When the organisers of one of the worlds premier boat shows wanted to introduce a competitive element for visitors they turned to Andrews ventilation to supply 22 of our high powered ASF950 fans. They were required to produce a steady wind direction and flow for two special regattas on a manmade lake within the exhibition center.

Over the two days thousands of visitors enjoyed the competitive radio controlled yacht racing. Due to its success event organizers are hoping to make the racing an annual feature of the show.

The new Central Region comprises of; Scunthorpe, Nottingham, Peterborough, Birmingham, Bristol and Pontypridd depots.

Dave has over 20 years experience in working in the specialist hire arena, having specific expertise in the portable heating, air conditioning and dehumidification markets.

Andrews Chiller Hire supplied a 200kW Heat Pump Chiller for the Olympic site in London to guarantee that concrete production was not interrupted. Concrete batching in all temperatures has become an increasing demand due to build projects schedules and pressure on developers and construction companies to deliver on deadlines.

This has caused concrete suppliers to meet the demand on their product by ensuring they can guarantee product during all extreme weather conditions. Importance of controlling concrete temperature is critical. Temperature affects fresh and hardened properties of concrete as well as the thermal cracking potential. With the country experiencing its coldest spell for 120 years it’s no surprise that Andrews Heating has been inundated with requests for heaters for both hire and sale and that has produced our busiest December ever!

When customers have a need for a fast and efficient service it is only natural that they turn to the largest specialist heat for hire company in the UK.

Whilst we faced many challenges (especially when it came to delivering to some snow covered areas!) our teams worked tirelessly throughout the month to ensure that we kept our customers working at, what is for many, a critical time of year. In fact, news of our excellent service levels spread so quickly we had many of our competitors contacting us to see if we could provide heaters on their behalf!
