As you'd expect, our pumps are deployed throughout refinery sites to support general operations. We also provide temporary fire pumps while existing units are being serviced and, if necessary, removed for overhaul/maintenance work.

Power Station

Power stations are complex environments that require well maintained machinery and well managed equipment to run smoothly. Regular servicing and maintenance is vital to the running of power stations and Sykes Pumps understand how much power stations and refineries depend on a reliable service.  An example of this is our long standing relationship with a power station. The power station needed to hire six submersible pumps, along with many control panels, hoses and extension leads, periodically, to maintain its tanks. As the power station generates by the use of sea water problems arise as sometimes a little bit more than water is pumped in. Hiring our pumps, the power station were able to rapidly and effectively pump out the unwanted mess. The power station were impressed with our service and equipment, and have since hired us on many occasions.
