We are currently seeking an experienced Pump/Diesel Engineer to join our Birmingham Depot.
Purpose of Role - To ensure that all our equipment is serviced and kept in excellent condition. To provide preventative maintenance and servicing both in the depot and on customer sites.
This role will include the service and maintenance of our fleet of diesel and electrical pump hire products, both on site and in the depot which will involve an element of physical and manual handling.
Your main role will be in the service and maintenance repairs of a wide range of mechanical and electrical devices. You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and servicing of pumps and other ancilliary equipment due to go out on hire and performing pre and post hire checks to ensure servicability, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Required Experience
This role will suit an engineer with a sound mechanical engineering background who has experience in the plant or equipment hire industry or with experience of servicing and repairing of diesel engine pumps. You will be required to work in a very busy customer focused environment which requires dedication to our strong commitment to exceptional customer service at all times.
This position will suit a service engineer who has a good knowledge of small diesel engines, generators or similar products along with an understanding of electrical and good manual handling skills.
