Major Banking Group

Andrews Sykes is contracted by one of the UK’s biggest banks to provide emergency backup for its 2,000+ UK branches and sites, providing heaters and air conditioning. We offer a priority response across the network, co-ordinated via our single dedicated National Account Centre. This ranges from additional units in extreme weather to total replacement should a branch have a heating or cooling failure. The 24/7 facility means the client can continue trading from all locations: our backup has helped many branches stay open and enabled staff and customers to keep comfortable, when sites would otherwise have closed due to excessively high or low temperatures.

Department Store

In a recent project for a leading chain of high street department stores, Andrews installed an FH500 site heater in a store basement; this pushed large volumes of heat up through a disused service elevator shaft. On each of the three levels that required drying, Andrews installed FV300 ventilation fans to divert hot air from the shaft, while a KT1600 drier was also provided on each floor. The temperature rise delivered by the FH500 heater speeded up the drying process significantly. Other planned projects include providing the retailers with Andrews' latest Aurora heaters to maintain temperatures for floor layers in a new store build.
