Outdoor Art Fair

Andrews were asked to provide event heaters for the biggest outside art show in the country, which attracted more than 27,000 visitors over five days. We installed indirect fired oil heaters and electric fan heaters to provide safe, fume-free warmth. The fair was hosted in a huge temporary structure, and reliable event heating was a ‘must have'. An important aspect was that Andrews worked closely with the other contractors to ensure the marquee heating results matched the strict technical event requirements, including its aesthetics and overall look. Our innovative approach meant the marquee heaters were perfectly in tune with the overall look of the event and worked perfectly throughout the show.

Football Clubs

Every winter, Andrews event heaters are used at football grounds throughout the country. For example, icy weather one January threatened many matches. At a major London club, the pitch was frozen, threatening the following day's FA Cup tie. Andrews supplied 12 event heating units to thaw the ground. The heaters were delivered and running in less than three hours. Despite the frost being two inches deep, the pitch was playable by 6pm, with the heaters running overnight to ensure it stayed ‘frost-free'. The units were removed for the kick-off and the referee declared the pitch in excellent condition. Our event heaters were also used at other grounds across the UK.
