Construction Show

In 2002 Andrews Sykes provided cooling and heating for three main areas at the national event for construction, which attracted 400 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors. This included chillers and external air handling units to provide high volume air conditioning for a pavilion (110m x 35m), concrete show (50m x 35m), and hospitality/press areas. With eight heat-pump chillers onsite, the service could switch to heating instantly if the weather changed. The show organisers were delighted with the result.

Racing Success

For 20 years, Andrews Sykes provided equipment and services to Silverstone. This included everything from air conditioning in areas like the Press Centre to chillers, heaters, dryers and pumps. Andrews has provided services to the circuit itself and for the many businesses based there. For example, year-round support for testing and race days, including office air conditioning . When the drivers' club extended its dining facilities with a 200-person marquee, Andrews provided a cooling/heating system.

Rally Hospitality

During the forest stages of a major motor rally, Andrews were asked to provide hospitality cooling, for a night event, that would blend in with the decor of the marquee. The time of year meant equipment was in short supply, but because of our large stock we were able to provide and install chillers and air handlers from our local depot that blended with the decoration. The event was a success and Andrews was told they would be the organiser’s first choice at the next event.
