When building services contractor Hamilton Reid was asked by Cable & Wireless to upgrade an air conditioning system in a telecommunications room, it asked Andrews to provide a high capacity cooling solution while work took place. The existing equipment in the room, which measured 400m³, created a lot of heat, so Andrews provided three 100kW chillers outside the building. Pipe work ran into the building and under the floor, linking up with six 50kW air handlers. The benefit to the client was they were able to continue witheir mission critical work throught the referbishment due the the quick and professional installation by Andrews.
