Nuclear Power Plant impressed with Andrews Boilers

Andrews Boilers understand the meticulous nature needed to work in the petrochemical and refinery environment. An example of this is the precise temperature needed for the water in a nuclear power plant in order for its batching process to take place. The nuclear plant, specialised in building atomic weapons, were unable to set the water to the exact temperature needed and called Andrews Boilers for a solution.

We proposed to place three 500kw boilers and two 500kw boilers into the water tanks which would constantly be circulating the water at the required temperature of the plant. Mike Beaty, Area Sales Manager, said this solution proved to be “very successful for the batching process”. The equipment was in and out within three weeks, resulting in very pleased customers.

The customers were also happy and impressed “with the professionalism and conduct of Andrews Sykes” Mike Beaty says, “as we had to be put through a lengthy admin and rigid security process” due to the nature of the company.
