Andrews Sykes has supplied a ventilation hire solution to an Anglican cathedral. The FV600 Ventilation/Extraction fan that was installed is a robust high powered fan, used with ducting for the removal of dangerous fumes, dust particles and vapours. The FV600 has a maximum-ducted length of 40mtr and can be linked to Heaters, Boilers and Chillers to distribute warm or cool air over large areas. This unit requires a 450v 3ph power supply.

A sewage treatment works called Sykes Pumps early on Sunday morning due to their main site pumps not able to cope with the heavy rainfall over the weekend. Both Basildon and Charlton depots were in a position to help the Sewage Treatment Works avert the potential risk of the facility flooding.
